How To Write An Article

If you are new to Internet Marketing then I am pretty sure you want to know how to write articles. This is a perfectly natural reaction as writing an article on any subject is not something most people have to do in there everyday lives so it doesn't come naturally. I am going to give you a few tips which I hope will help you to get started which I have placed into four categories. Keywords, Relevancy, Acceptability and Content.

KEYWORDS

Go to Google Adwords site and type in a word or phrase about the subject of your article and in the left hand column select exact match and not broad. This will show you how many people have searched for your phrase in the last month and how much competition you have. The less competition you have the more chance your article will rank highly on the Google results page and that is more traffic for you which is more sales.

RELEVENCY

As an Internet Marketer you must always link keywords to your niche otherwise you are wasting your time. You are looking to get the attention of people who are searching the e Internet for what you are offering. There is no point in writing a beautiful article which is not targeted to the people you are looking for. I did a search on Adwords for 'How To Write Articles' which shows the monthly search count and the competition which is important for people to find your article. This may be how you may have found this article which confirms that it works.

ACCEPTABILITY

With Good Business Ideas or in fact even with the Best Home Business Ideas, any Internet Marketer must always abide by the rules to create an honest presence and protect your reputation. This means that you must never copy or plagiarise another person's article without their permission. If you intend to submit your article to directories then they must be originals and all your own work. The value of your article is the resource box beneath your article where you can place a backlink to your website.

CONTENT

The content is important as it must be both informative and helpful, be yourself and write as though you were telling a friend about your business. Look out for ideas that relate to the product or services that you are offering and the article can be anything from 250-500 words long with article directories usually requiring 400 or above. If your article gives value and encourages your reader to visit your website then that will enhance your reputation. If you visitor only reads your article without visiting your website then they may well bookmark you for future visits so your article can be valuable in many ways.
